Baggage
  Always check with the airline you are traveling with to find the individual requirements for baggage. With some low fare airlines, a check-in baggage fee is charged per item of baggage/per one way flight.

The check-in baggage weight for each airline can vary from anything from 10kg – 25kg. If baggage has an excess weight over the allowed weight stated, a fee will apply. This is usually charged per kg. there is a limit of 32kg per item with most airlines.

Hand luggage also varies in weight restrictions from airline to airline. Some airlines have a weight restriction, others may only ask that your hand luggage fit into the overhead lockers without any assistance, or fit a stated dimension. Others may ask for both.


 
Online Check-in
  Some airlines offer a service of checking in on-line/priority boarding. This is a service that will appeal to anyone who wants to save time at the airport, avoid queuing at the check-in desk and boarding cues.

On-line check-in is only available if you are within the guide lines stated by the individual airline and are not checking in any baggage.

With this service, you will be in the first group to be boarded onto the aircraft.

Traveling with liquids
  Due to the latest clamp down on security, some airports have restrictions on carrying liquids in your hand luggage. Below are the restrictions. Different airports have different polices so make sure to check your origin and destination airport.

‘Liquid’ Containers (bottles tubes etc) must not exceed 100ml. (3.4 fl oz)

‘Liquid’ Containers must be carried in a transparent, re-sealable, Plastic Bag

Plastic Bag capacities must not exceed 1 litre (approximately 20cms x 20cms)

Plastic Bag contents must be clearly seen from both sides and the bag sealed

Plastic Bags with 'Liquids' must be carried in the ONE item of Hand Baggage

Plastic Bags must be presented for examination at the Security Search Area

Liquids include :

  •   water and other drinks, soups, syrups and deodorants
  •   creams, lotions and oils
  •   pastes, including toothpaste
  •   perfumes
  •   liquid-solid mixtures
  •   sprays
  •   mascara
  •   gels, including hair and shower gels
  •   any other item of similar consistency

 
Prohibited hand luggage items
 
Sharp objects,

Sporting equipment,

Guns / firearms, (including replica items)

Tools,

Martial arts & self defense items,

Explosive or flammable items or materials,

Any other type of dangerous items or substances,

Drinks,

Gel insoles or inserts for your shoes.
